The Institute was founded as a ‘power center’ for resources related to women and leadership, serving as a clearinghouse for research, training, coaching and mentoring to develop leadership potential and helping women make bold changes to improve their lives. SUSAN BUTLER

Susan Bulkeley Butler in 1965 became the first woman professional in the accounting firm, Arthur Andersen & Co. She was later named the first female partner of its consulting organization, Andersen Consulting, now known as Accenture. She is CEO of the Susan Bulkeley Butler Institutefor the Development of Women leaders.
