More women needed at Davos

This year, there was an increase of women at Davos. Can you believe that we had an increase from 16% to 17%? I suppose a 1% increase is better than 0% (and certainly better than a decrease). Hopefully we can make Marie Wilson's goal of 30% a reality by 2020, the 100th anniversary of women's right to vote. Can you imagine how great the discussions would be?

Maybe the World Economic Forum should challenge all of its participants to have one of their five attendees be a woman.I believe they should make a big deal for those that do.

This blog post was inspired by an article, "Where are all the women in Davos?" on guardian.co.uk. Please click here to read the full article.
