Which women do you think made the biggest difference in 2011?

The other day, I was talking to my cousin and she mentioned that she hadn't seen women in any of the news articles talking about the most important people of 2011. Then, I read an article, "21 Leader 2012 - Seven Who Catalyze Culture," on Womens eNews, which was all about outstanding women!

Here's a question for you: Who would you include on a list of women who made a difference in 2011? Maybe Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, possibly Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, or maybe the head of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde?

I look forward to seeing who you choose for your lists! I'm going to create my own list as well.
